Salonika Prisoners London Action November 8th
 
Picket in solidarity with the Saloniki 7 hunger strikers this Saturday.
5 of the Saloniki 7 including Simon Chapman have now been on hunger strike for a month.

Today Carlos - one of the 2 Spanish prisoners on hunger strike - was taken to hospital, but refused food or injections of vitamins, and was returned to the prison. Simon is likely to be taken to hospital in the next couple of days.

November 8th is an international day of action. It is important to keep the pressure up. Things are getting pretty urgent.

In solidarity with the Saloniki 7 hunger strikers - a Picket of the Greek Tourist board /Olympic Airlines this Saturday 8th November at Conduit Street,London W1 (Between Regent Street and New Bond Street) from 11am-1pm.

Bring banners, placards, whistles, pots and pans, Olympic torches etc. We want to see you all there - no excuses..

If you don't live in London, please organise your own action.

Sign and post a postcard to the Greek ambassador. Don't forget to keep writing.

CAMPAIGN AGAINST PRISON SLAVERY
The next CAPS action in the south east is planned for Saturday 8th November at noon at Wilko's in Kingston, Surrey. This will be a joint action with Thessaloniki Prisoners Solidarity. Meet at Wilko's, 146-152 Clarence Street, Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey, KT11QP.

Where: Merchant Taylors Hall, Threadneedle Street, City of London
When: 6pm Thursday 20th November
What: The event is the Police Review Gala Awards Dinner
Why: Because David Blunkett, Most Chief Constables and senior police will be there with their noses in the trough!
How: Just turn up and boo them! They want their dinner, they can choke on it!
